Ralph M. Bye, Jr. of Newtown, PA passed away suddenly on Monday, May 23, 2022. He was 74.
He is survived by his beloved wife Denise M. Bye (nee Gill) of 27 years, his children: Chris, Leah, Matt, and step daughter Jackie, as well as 7 grandchildren.
Ralph is preceded in death by his step daughter, AnnMarie Gill, his father and mother Ralph Sr. and Anna Mae Bye.
Ralph was a graduate of Counsil Rock High in Newtown, PA. He had many hobbies that he was passionate about. He enjoyed collecting vintage cars and scale model cars, as well as watching old movies. He could often be found spending time in person or on the phone with his family and friends. Ralph's passion was rebuilding his 1967 Chevelle and attending car shows and connecting with fellow veterans.
Ralph proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during The Vietnam War. A true lover of America and it's values. Ralph worked many years for The United States Postal Service before retiring.
Relatives and friends are invited to Ralph's Life Celebration on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM (with the family members being invited at 8:30 AM) at the Swartz-Givnish Funeral Home, 323 E. Washington Ave., Newtown, PA 18940. His interment with military honors will follow at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ralph's name may be sent to the American Legion Post 440 in Newtown, PA.
