Robert C. Blake, a lifelong resident of Newtown, passed away peacefully surrounded by his adoring family Friday, May 6, 2016. He was 67.
Bob was a graduate of Council Rock High School and LaSalle University where he received a bachelor of science degree. He pursued a career in electronic engineering sales and marketing. Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Bob was a longtime member of the Newtown Colonial Softball team and the National Corvette Restorers Society. He enjoyed spending summers with his family at LBI.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Barbara (Wilkins); his daughters, Michele (Chris) and Stephanie (Steve); as well as his cherished grandchildren, Logan, Clay, Willa, Luca, Marka, Alexis and Blake; his sister, Virginia (Ed), together with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Esther Blake; and his brother, Doug.
Services will be private at the family's convenience.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, in Bob's honor, may be made to Fox Chase Cancer Center, 333 Cottman Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19111.
